Deemed To Satisfy

Deemed to Satisfy (DTS) only allows to show compliance with Section J1 to J3 of the NCC/BCA. There is no flexibility with regard to Glazing options and insulation requirements of the different types of construction of walls, roof and floors. 

JV3 Alternative Solution

A performance based solution (JV3) allows much more flexibility in the type of construction and insulation options for the walls, roofs and floors, e.g., the glazing requirements may be relaxed in some areas or made consistent throughout. We are of the opinion that a JV3 methodology offers better value management of the building design and construction costs.
